Microsoft reported revenue of US$92.3 billion for its fiscal first quarter, an increase of 19 percent from the corresponding period a year earlier. The October 28 earnings release covers the quarter ended September 30, 2026. Azure revenue grew 48 percent, while the company’s Devices and Consumer segment recorded a decline. The results show that different parts of Microsoft’s business are moving at different speeds, rather than delivering a uniform technology boom. The company presents both standard accounting and adjusted profit measures, which should not be confused. These are Microsoft’s reported financial results, not an independent assessment or a recommendation to buy its shares.
